Brisbane

We made it to Brisbane, despite the close timing getting through customs at Sydney, then on to our domestic flight to Brisbane.  The weather here is 25 C and quite humid.  My hair is frizzy again.

The Rendezvous Hotel is located directly across from Central Station which is a short ride away by LRT from the airport.  We settled in for a bit, then strolled our way along the Queen Street mall which is similar to Sparks Street in Ottawa only bigger.  Then we meandered our way down to Queensland University and through the City Botanical Gardens, picked up some food because neither of us had the energy to go to a restaurant after having so little sleep on the way over.  It's nighty night time for us; we are tired and very stiff muscled travellers.  After 5 hours from Toronto to Vancouver, 14 hours to Sydney and 1.5 hours to Brisbane, we were both feeling very muscle fatigued and now need to stretch out because tomorrow we'll be ready to really enjoy this amazing city.
